Smart Hong Kong Pavilion at the InnoEX 2025

The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB) will jointly organise the third edition of InnoEX with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from 13 to 16 April. The Digital Policy Office (DPO) will once again set up a large-scale Smart Hong Kong Pavilion at the InnoEX, featuring over 100 innovation and technology (I&T) solutions including those developed by different government departments benefitting citizens’ daily lives, to demonstrate Hong Kong’s solid achievements in advancing the I&T development and smart city development brought about by the concerted efforts of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and various sectors.

The Pavilion this year, focusing on data-driven and Artificial Intelligence applications, will feature six smart areas namely, "Smart Living", "Smart Mobility", "Smart Environment", "Smart People", "Smart Government" and "Smart Economy", and showcase innovative I&T solutions from about 20 government bureaux and departments and the winning entries of the “Hong Kong ICT Awards”, “Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards”, “ 'Maker in China' SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Contest - Hong Kong Chapter” and “Open Data Hackathon” from local innovators and students. Through interactive experience and on-site demonstrations, we hope to provide a platform that facilitates exchanges and co-operation among various sectors and government departments, so as to further encourage the adoption of more I&T solutions by government departments with a view to continuously enhancing public services for the benefit of the public and businesses. Through the exhibition, we also hope to recognise outstanding innovations of local industry and inspire industry players to develop more innovative applications, and thus charting Hong Kong in moving full steam towards an international I&T centre.
